Every customer, every call and every situation will be different. But they’ll each need lots of empathy and understanding. For you to treat them the way you would want to be treated and care about finding the best solution. It’s far more than a telephony job, you’ll have expert communication skills, a real interest in people and you’ll enjoy making a positive difference to the lives of those struggling with debt
It’s not an easy role. Conversations won’t always be simple to resolve. There’ll be systems and processes to learn and targets to hit. But following a 9 week training course and fully supported first 6 months, you’ll have learnt from any mistakes, built your resilience and be ready to go it alone. You’ll understand our highly regulated environment and all the rules and strict ways of working that, as a bank, we have to adhere to.
