Fresh out of school but lacking experience? A traineeship could suit you down to the ground. It’ll be a maximum seven-week programme that’ll build your skills and confidence, so you’re all systems go for the world of work. What’s more, it could even lead to you landing an apprenticeship with us.

In the first few weeks, you’ll get stuck into interactive workshops. These will see you developing the key skills employers look for. You’ll learn about interview techniques, business numeracy, effective communication and more.
You’ll then spend the next three weeks getting work experience. Based either at our Bradford or Liverpool contact centres, you’ll find out what makes us tick and get a real feel for the working world.
Once this is complete, we’ll help you put together a portfolio to show potential employers all the skills and experiences you gained during the programme.
During the final week, you’ll also have an interview with a Santander line manager, which could potentially secure you a position as a Retail Contact Centre Apprentice.
This programme is for those who’ve left school but don’t feel ready for work yet. If you don’t have a level-3 qualification and are not currently in employment, this programme will give you the boost you need.
